The rest of the meeting was dedciated to policy, pricing 2019 and Barnum Ave parking lot
Subsequently- 2019 parking policy was adopted by the boardof trustees and a public hearing was held March 14th for new Barnum Ave parking lot, Initial plans were presented to building and planning on that date.
Outrageous that the plans for the Barnum lot were paid for prior to the taxpayers being made aware of the rubber stanp project. This is so far from transparency than can be believed.How can the Committee allow this to happen without letting the taxpayers know. Isn't there 1 person with loyalty to the residents?
ReplyDeleteFurthemore the taxpayers have not been told how much has been spent so far without planning board approval and what is the total anticipated cost of the project? The $525,000. May 2016 Bond money is earmarked and specified for the 330 Barnum Ave lot that is still unusable.Why doesn't the committee update the taxpayers when there is so very much information that affects them, that is what minutes are for. Not all or many want to or can come to the meetings. That is why you have a comment section on this page,however the comments don't seem to be responded too.
